
Meet Jill Cole
Jill Cole currently serves as the Mayor of Blue Ash, having been sworn in on December 1, 2023. She was first appointed to Blue Ash City Council (At-Large) in 2020, elected in 2021, and re-elected in 2023. In her role, Jill serves on all Council Committees and holds positions on the City’s Investment Board and the CRA Housing Review Council.
A successful entrepreneur, Jill and her husband, Steve, founded Cole Realty Associates, Inc. in 2006. Together, they own and operate the Galbraith Business Center, a 52,000-square-foot flex/industrial facility located in Arlington Heights.
Jill’s commitment to public service began with education. She was elected to the Sycamore Community Schools Board of Education in 2007, serving until 2015. During her tenure, she held leadership roles including president, vice president, policy liaison, and student achievement liaison.
A proud veteran, Jill served in the U.S. Army, where she was named Outstanding Trainee of her platoon during basic training. She continued her service at the Defense Language Institute as a Russian voice interceptor, earning an honorable discharge.
Jill graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After college, she trained as a commercial loan officer with Bank One (now Chase Bank) and later served as vice president of corporate affairs for Johnson Group Management, Inc., a national retail holding company.
Deeply involved in civic and community life, Jill is a graduate of the JoAnn Davidson Ohio Leadership Academy and serves on the boards of SheLeads and the Blue Ash Republican Club. She also serves in advisory roles for Matthew 25 Ministries and the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra. A dedicated member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, she leads the Ministry Council for Worship and facilitates a Bible Study Fellowship group.
Jill and Steve are the proud parents of five grown sons and loving grandparents to six grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys golf, travel, and spending time with her family and friends.
