Tax Relief and Waste Reduction: Jill supports cutting personal income taxes and eliminating wasteful spending to make Ohio more affordable and fiscally responsible.

Support for Small Business: Jill believes government should get out of the way and help entrepreneurs succeed by reducing burdensome regulations and paperwork.

Workforce and Infrastructure Investment: Jill supports workforce development programs, investment in trade and manufacturing, and ensuring Ohio is ready for job growth with infrastructure that meets future demand.

Jill's Record on the Economy

Built a Successful Local Business: Jill and her husband founded Cole Realty Associates in 2006 and own and operate the 52,000-square-foot Galbraith Business Center.

Helped Bring Jobs to Blue Ash: As mayor, Jill supported a performance-based agreement that helped bring a corporate headquarters and more than 100 local jobs to Blue Ash.

Practiced Fiscal Discipline: As a council member and mayor, Jill has helped continue Blue Ash’s conservative budgeting practices, strong reserves, and responsible approach to debt.

Support for Law Enforcement: Jill backs investments in public safety and law enforcement training, believing strong communities start with safe neighborhoods.

Effective Criminal Justice: Jill supports a justice system that holds offenders accountable while protecting victims and reducing repeat offenses.

Invested in First Responders: Jill voted to fund three full-time firefighter positions and new police cruisers, security cameras, protective equipment, and updated public-safety technology.

Supported Effective Policing: During Jill’s service on City Council, the Blue Ash Police Department maintained its statewide professional certification and reported a 97% case-clearance rate in 2023.

Put Outside Funding to Work: Jill supported grant funding for impaired-driving enforcement, law-enforcement coordination, and a comprehensive plan to make Blue Ash streets safer.

Excellent Education for Every Child

Partnership-Driven Success: Jill believes the best way to help every child reach their highest potential is through a strong, respectful partnership between families and schools. Parents should be welcomed as active partners in shaping their child’s educational journey.

Balanced School Choice: Jill supports expanding educational opportunities for parents through vouchers and charter schools, but believes this must not come at the expense of strong, accountable public schools.

Return to Core Curriculum: Jill supports a renewed focus on essential academic subjects such as reading, math, and history — along with practical skills like financial literacy and physical education.

Curriculum Transparency and Parental Involvement: Jill believes parents have a right to know what is being taught in their children’s schools. Transparency builds trust, and schools should work collaboratively with families to support student learning.

School Safety and Engagement: Jill supports improved building security, coordinated safety protocols, and greater collaboration between school leaders and local law enforcement. These steps are critical to keeping students safe and creating an environment where they can thrive.

Led on the School Board: Jill served eight years on the Sycamore Community Schools Board of Education, including as president, vice president, policy liaison, and student achievement liaison.

Delivered More for Taxpayers: Jill worked with fellow board members and district leaders to reduce costs for taxpayers while maintaining the excellent, high-quality education Sycamore families expected.

Kept Students Safe: Jill voted to maintain a school resource officer partnership between the school district and local law enforcement.

Delivered Responsible Stewardship: During Jill’s board tenure, the district opened a new elementary school and earned the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction for a clean financial audit.

Advanced Major Community Projects: Jill helped move forward approximately $35 million in investments involving the city center, parks, and new municipal maintenance facilities.
